We’ve had another exciting week up the Highlands hill. A week ago today we began our morning with an all camp murder mystery game where all campers had time to interrogate the suspects to find out who killed Principal Nogood (our camp director, Sheryl). In the evening we were astounded to hear Harriet Pottster was the culprit. If that wasn’t enough excitement, we broke out Olympics!
The following day the Black Witches, White Ghosts, Red Vampires, and Blue Zombies competed in various land and water activities to finally come together for a spectacular show where each team got to showcase all the hard work they put into their songs, cheers, and plaques. After much excitement, it was announced that Red Vampires reigned victorious with Black Witches coming in a close second.
On Sunday we welcomed our friends and family into our beautiful camp to show them our bunks, the lake, and all our favorite places in camp.
On Monday we started the day with a 6 hour hike to Firetower where we got to enjoy our lunch overlooking the Hudson Valley.
Wednesday we had the wonderful opportunity to spend the entire day on Teenside with our brother unit, Frontier. While there we swam in the teen waterfront, participated in fitness, and enjoyed all sports fields Teenside had to offer. We gazed at the stars and enjoyed the meteor shower as we snuggled in our sleeping bags under the night sky.
Farewell for now,
