OLYMPICS BREAKOUT!!! It started with a full day of the Murder Mystery Adventure where we got to interrogate all the suspects. Our job was to figure out who took down Principal Nogood, where it happened, and what weapon was used. At the end of the day we found out it was all leading up to the much awaited Olympic Breakout. This was followed by a day filled with field and waterfront competitions, as well as tons of cheering for our teams. At the end of the day there was a parade of all the teams to the Eddie Cantor Theater where each team presented their song, cheer, dance, plaque, and LEGO. While all teams gave a valiant effort, the Red Vampires proved to be victorious.
Sunday was Visiting Day! It is always such an amazing time getting to see parents and campers reunite. It was great to see all of my 1st session parents again and to meet all of my second session parents. That night we watched an awesome magic show followed by giving out paper plate awards for our 2a campers. The next morning we had to say see you next year to all our 2 weekers. We wish you a great rest of the summer and a good school year.
After our sad goodbyes to 10 other MVG family members, we got to welcome an amazing crew to join our already special family. Since they have arrived, M5 & M6 have climbed the tower, we have all gone swimming, and we had Hobby. Groups have also been to drama, A&C, and Teva. We even got to go mud sliding! Today, M7 & M8 went on a hike to Firetower. We made several stops along the way which I can only describe as breath taking.
While we are getting to the last stretches of the summer, we still have so much to look forward to. I can’t wait to see what came has in store for us this coming week!
