The 4th of July Carnival on the 6th of July

Today was Carnival Day!!!  (Postponed from the 4th due to inclement weather)

We kicked off the celebration on Saturday night with spectacular fireworks exploding and reflecting over the lake.  As always, Harry, Missy, and a select few lifeguards put on a wonderful show for us, all while remaining cool, calm, and safe!

Today, there were awesome carnival events throughout camp!  The Slip ‘n Slide and All American races were favorites!  The scavenger hunt was also so much fun.  Laser tag was a HUGE hit, along with snow cones, cotton candy, air-brushed tattoos, fortune tellers, face painting, fish for the duck, bouncy castles, and so much more.  There was so much to do, it was hard to keep up with this action packed, fun-filled day!  Our Program Department (We call them our “Dream Team”) went above and beyond in planning this incredible day… even the weather was perfect!  When you check out the pictures on your Camp In Touch account, the smiles on everyone’s faces say it all.  (If you are reading this, are not a camp family or a staff member, and would still like to access the camp’s photos, please email alumni@surpriselake.org to receive access to the guest account).  Marraige booth Water gun
